NAPP was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1977. He was inspired by progressive house music at an early age, and slowly began realizing that he wanted to pursue a career in music. He was deeply affected by the music of DJ’s such as Hernan Cattaneo, especially after hearing his sets at the legendary Pacha-Buenos Aires. Soon thereafter, he started pursing his passions of DJing at the early age of 16. He would go to great lengths joining likeminded friends in order to do anything they could to get their hands on DJ equipment, constantly chasing the rush of spinning records.
Napp eventually moved to the USA, where he began working at a bar that slowly became his first doorway into DJing for a crowd. He would arrive early to his job in order to practice DJing, constantly refining his craft. His dedication led to an important opportunity given to him by the owner of the prestigious bar Aja Lounge, David Ayala.
He decided to give Napp a chance to prove his skills.
He was able to support many guest DJs and started earning his own residency. That was the beginning of a lifelong journey that hasn’t slowed down. Since then, NAPP has come a long way. He has been creating his own sound since 2007, building his own studio, and eventually graduated from SAE institute in 2013.
Napp moved to Miami in 2009 where his journey began playing clubs such as the legendary Electric Pickle and Mekka to name a few. His years of consistent hard work paid off when he gained opportunities to play in places like Pacha Ibiza terrace, Es Vive Ibiza, Treehouse Miami, Trade Miami, Heart Nightclub, Primary Chicago, Sound Bar Chicago, Castle Chicago, Empire Las Vegas, and many more to come.
Napp has an edge when it comes to adapting to different styles of electronica, but always remains true to his roots embedded in the world of progressive house.
His experience behind the booth allows him to read the international dance floor. He has visited countries such as Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Spain, adding more to the list as time goes by. He has given support to talents such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur, Jeremy Olander, Simply City, Ric Niels, Marcelo Vasami y Nicolas Rada.
Currently, Napp has been actively involved in creating a prestigious online radio and radio shows exclusively from sunny Miami. In addition, he throws local underground events with rising talent and brings something unique to the city. He also began a fresh new label called introspective Music with his friend DJ/producer POT and upcoming releases from reputable names in the scene.
Lately the new release on 33 Degrees Fahrenheit, “Synchronize Universe” in collaboration with Federico Barga and the amazing remix from TheArchitech came out strong on Beatport.com reaching the top #1 on progressive, the #4 melodic house & techno and the EP was in the top #1 releases.
More music coming out soon….
